Gastroenterology Care and Resources

Duke Health Division of Gastroenterology (GI) strives to provide quality patient care by focusing on patient satisfaction, optimizing outcomes, conducting ongoing research, and educating and developing faculty and resident physicians. Our providers and staff recognize the honor and responsibility of caring for our patients and their loved ones.

Ambulatory GI clinical care is offered through Duke Health Integrative Practices and the Duke University Health System. Inpatient GI care is provided at the three hospitals in the Duke University Health System, which consistently ear top scores for hospital safety and reputation.

Research Trials

Clinical research and trials offer hope for many people and a chance to help researchers find better treatments for others in the future. It has also helped doctors discover new ways to identify people at risk for and help prevent or delay certain diseases. If you are interested in participating in a diabetes clinical trial search to find one that sounds right for you.
